Congratulations to one of our own from the beautiful island of Taiwan. This is great promotion for the diving industry in Taiwan as a whole. Nigel Anderson the owner of the Scubar, Fulong and diving coach at the Taipei Song Shan Sports Center won this years I Heart My PADI Pro 2015 contest!

PADI’s website says “PADI Professionals are exceptional people, often changing the lives of others through sharing the passion of scuba. To help recognise the great work PADI Professionals do, we asked you to nominate the best PADI Professional you’ve had.”

Nigel was nominated by his student Wesley Oosthuizen, who said “Nigel is a true PADI Pro, as his love for the ocean and the way he delivers comprehensive instruction to his students is truly inspiring. I was out of diving for nearly twelve years and decided to get back into it by doing my Rescue Diver course and am so happy that after a post I made on a group on Facebook, that Nigel contacted me and saw me all the way through my course and went well beyond the duty of his job as my instructor. I am so please with his performance and attitude that I am now beginning my Dive Master course with him. He is a noteworthy individual who is definitely deserving of this prize. People like Nigel deserve recognition for their hard work.”
