Summer vacation is around the corner, so get certified! Open a gateway to new destinations!

The Open Water course requires 2 weekends to complete. In the first weekend we will cover dive theory in the classroom and learn the basic dive skills in a confined water environment at the swimming pool in Taichung. During the second weekend we will head to Xiao Liu Qiu to complete the course in the ocean.

After you complete these checkout dives you will complete a short exam. Upon successful completion of the course you will be a qualified scuba diver.

This certification is recognized worldwide allowing you to rent equipment and dive in any dive center throughout the world. If you are heading off to a renown diving destination why not get certified before you leave so you can get the best bang for your buck, relax and enjoy fun diving while you are there.

To enroll in the PADI OW course you should be over 16 years old (though PADI does accept as young as 10yo). You need to be an adequate swimmer and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.
